KHI Theatre for Awareness - an initiative in development communication

Krishnaa Human Initiatives is working in development communication at the grassroot level. The organization is using theatre as a tool for awareness building on sustainable development issues. It conducts various workshops in the interior parts of West Bengal and its adjacent states.

Mr. Aminul Haque, an well known theatre activist of Nandikar fame and the Executive Committee Member of KHI is working as the Director of the Project.

Presently the organization is conducting theatrical workshop in the remote area of Sundarban where the tribal villagers are facing problems regarding health, malnutrition, child and woman trafficking in their day to day life.

Both the male and female villagers from different age group and profession eagerly participates in the workshops to develop and change their attitude towards life.

Krishnaa Human Initiatives undertakes the project to enhance awareness of the direct and indirect beneficiaries regarding various sustainable development issues.
